La Rinconada is a small village lacated in the Toledo province, half way between Talavera de la Reina and Toledo and right on the border of the regions of Torrijos and Toledo Mountains, in the Middle Tagus.

La Rinconada is far away by car:

This so-called "settlement village", founded in the 50´s in the last century and with less than a hundred inhabitants, is characterized for an architectural line carefully preserved, for its white houses and its tree-covered streets, and it is wholly integrated in the surrounding scenery.
The kind pepole of La Rinconada base their economy almost exclusively in the agricultural activity, the crop that grows on irrigated land being the chief characteristic of such activity. Industry and shops are non-existing, but it is not a big inconvenience because La Puebla de Montalbán, which is only 5 minutes away by car, has many kind of shops and services to offer.

However, La Rinconada, does have enough leisure and sport facilities, and in a very good condition, such as children playground, multisport ground with tennis pitch and a big swimming pool with grass-carpeted areas and big trees for shady spots. Also, there is a bar-restaurante within the facilities, where you can taste the exquisite local gastronomy, distinguished for being very rich in the big and small game. Do not miss the opportunity to taste "deer with sauce" or "garlic wild rabbit" that cooks Merche, the pub owner, who will not hesitate to prepare any kind of dish you may order. An ideal place for those who do not bother to cook because the bar is only 30 metres away from the apartment, which is fitted with everything you need to cook, though.
